MANILA, Philippines — The University of the Philippines (UP) and the University of Santo Tomas (UST) slipped in the World University Rankings for 2022 by international higher education information provider Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). The World University Rankings released on Wednesday showed that UP fell to the 399th spot, three places lower than its ranking in 2021. Beijing’s Tsinghua University placed 17th and Peking University ranked 18th. The University of Hong Kong placed 22nd in the World University Rankings.
