Captain Abid Sultan, pilot of the US-Bangla Airlines flight which crashed in Kathmandu, Nepal on Monday afternoon, has been confirmed deceased. He was being treated at Kathmandu Medical College And Teaching Hospital (KMCTH) after emergency services rescued him. His co-pilot First Officer Prithula Rashid was confirmed dead after the accident.
