An Indian worker was killed in an Iranian attack on a power and water desalination plant in Kuwait on 30 March, according to a Reuters report quoting the Kuwaiti government. Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity and Water said on social media platform X that the strike damaged a service building at the facility. There has been no immediate response from the Indian Embassy in Kuwait or India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) regarding the incident. Indian Death Toll Rises as Conflict SpreadsThe death of the worker takes the number of Indian nationals killed in the West Asia conflict to seven, Reuters reported. So far, one Indian has been reported killed in Saudi Arabia, two in Oman, and two in the United Arab Emirates.
