Photo: David ConachyUS president Donald Trump may visit Ireland in September during the Irish Open golf tournament that is being hosted at the Co Clare course owned by his family, the American ambassador to Ireland said on Thursday. Mr Trump last made an official visit to Ireland as president in 2019 when he stayed at the Trump International Golf Club in Doonbeg. Taoiseach Micheál Martin will meet President Trump at the White House next month during the annual St Patrick's Day meeting in Washington.
