SINGAPORE—Uber Technologies Inc. is selling a 51% stake in its car-rental unit in Singapore to public-transport operator ComfortDelGro Corp. for 295 million Singapore dollars (US$218 million), as the two rivals come together as partners. The unit, Lion City Holdings Pte Ltd., operates a fleet of about 14,000 vehicles that are hired by Uber drivers.
