Police detained Sumon and seized his motorcycle from the Nabinagar Housing area in Adabar, Dhaka around 1:30am on Friday. Confirming the matter, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jan-e-Alam Munshi told Dhaka Tribune: "Police are investigating to find out what exactly happened during the incident. On Thursday, 21-year-old Brac University student Fahmida Haque Labannya was killed in a road accident in Dhaka's Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area. Labannya was a third-year student of the computer science and engineering department of Brac University.
