Uganda has approved a three-month visa waiver for visitors to AFCON 2027, starting June 2027, to boost tourism and fan travel as it prepares stadiums with Kenya and Tanzania. The Ugandan government has announced a three-month visa waiver for visitors attending the 2027 CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). “The Cabinet of Uganda decided to grant a visa waiver for visitors coming to Uganda, starting one month before the kickoff of AFCON 2027 and ending one month after the tournament. As preparations continue, each host nation has proposed stadiums for the event. The 2027 tournament will feature 28 national teams, an expansion from previous editions.
