The 'woman' and 'daughter' cow letter. PHOTO | COURTESYAn old age “animal movement permit” written by a Ugandan village elder has left sections of social media in stitches for the broken English used. The permit in question was prepared some 26 years ago by then LC (Local Council) chairman 1 Aurelio Drazelega. As is required by law, this permit was enable to enable one “Aduato son of Eustakio” to ferry two of his animals to a nearby market. He then signs off the permit with a terse “Don’t disturb warning” – meant probably for to whom it may concern.
