Md Bachchu Mia, inspector of DMCH police outpost, said Shafiqul was travelling in a bus of Moumita Paribahan from Narayanganj. On the way to Dhaka, the bus driver’s assistant noticed that he was unconscious. The driver’s assistant dropped Shafiqul at Chankharpool area and asked a rickshaw puller to take him to the hospital, he said. Doctors declared him dead after being taken to DMCH, he said adding that the body was kept in the morgue for autopsy.
