The 34 village extension officers attached to various local bodies in the State are currently on a mission in Kollam. As part of Gothrayanam, a week-long training workshop organised by KILA Centre for Socio-Economic Development (Extension Training Centre) that began on Tuesday, they will be visiting the tribal hamlets in the district to get a clear picture of tribal life. The participants interacted with the tribal community members and visited their homes for a deeper understanding of their socio-economic conditions.
