Meesho (India)At a considerably larger scale, Meesho, based in Bangalore, India, is taking the idea of peer-to-peer social commerce to the next level. The site has two million social sellers and has a goal of increasing that to 20 million by 2020. More recently, Instagram has blended interactive marketing and social commerce in its Instagram Shoppable feature. As far a social commerce is concerned, it looks like Instagram has a major leg up on the competition, but it’s real early!
