THE Vesta International Masters Head of the River Race delivered a dramatic and highly competitive day of racing, with more than 300 crews taking to the Championship Course on the River Thames. Upper Thames Rowing Club had 10 crews entered in total, comprising six club crews and four composite line-ups. Henley Rowing Club had four quadruple sculls crews entered in the event. Their open D crew finished fourth in their category in a time of 21 minutes, 15 seconds. Elsewhere, in the open F event, Henley finished fifth in 22 minutes, 37 seconds.
