An uprooted tree fell on a parked car at 60 feet Road in Rajarajeshwarinagar in Bengaluru on Monday. Meanwhile, Shivaram, Deputy Range Forest officer, BBMP said that the tree that got uprooted was the Indian Cork Tree (Akash Mallige Tree) and is just over 20-years-old. A two-wheeler rider was killed and a car driver severely injured when a tree uprooted and fell over them on Margosa Road on Monday afternoon. Police sources said that the tree fell on Pasha’s back, causing severe crush injuries and multiple fractures. The car driver Swamy (27) has sustained severe injuries and multiple fractures as the tree trunk fell over the front portion of his car.
