Cleveland Police havs issued an urgent warning after seven people were rushed to hospital after taking suspected tainted sleeping pills, with one man reportedly dead after consuming the drug. The force has alerted drug users about a potentially contaminated batch of Zopiclone, following seven adults being rushed to North Tees General Hospital. A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "On Friday 28 June police received reports of seven adults having been taken to North Tees General Hospital. "Officers are warning drug users of a potentially contaminated batch which could cause significant illness or lead to an overdose. Anyone with information regarding the drug batch is encouraged to contact Cleveland Police via 101.
