Popular musician and sympathiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Asare Obeng, also known as A-plus, has been sued by the Communications Minister, Ursula Owusu-Ekulful. She is seeking an interlocutory injunction to restrain A-Plus from making “further defamatory comments” about her. A-Plus had accused Mrs Owusu-Ekulful of being involved in a shady deal at the Communications Ministry. However, the musician refused to apologise and retract, resulting in the suit against him.
