The annual event offers an occasion for cultural exchange and mutual understanding between nations and introducing Vietnam to international friends. The ambassador also stated that in the spirit of complying with the provisions of the convention, Vietnam is the most successful country in the region in terms of addressing maritime disputes with the most diverse tools. He expressed his hope that Vietnam and the UAE will intensify the exchange of experience in this field. The event was co-hosted by the National Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Vietnam. This serves as a basis for Vietnam to invest in SDG-priority areas to generate profit and consider environmental and social outcomes.
