NA Standing Committee convenes 17th sessionThe 17th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee opened in Hanoi on November 28, and will last only one day. Vietnam and Morocco established diplomatic relations on March 27, 1961. Buddhists convene national congress in HanoiThe ninth national congress of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) officially opened in Hanoi on November 28 themed ‘Discipline - Responsibility - Solidarity – Development’. Nearly 1,100 Buddhist dignitaries, monks and nuns, and representatives of the Vietnam Buddhist Association overseas are expected to attend the congress. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh made the request on November 28 while receiving Virginijus Sinkevicius, European Commissioner for Environment, who is in Vietnam for the 2022 Green Economy Forum and Exhibition (GEFE) organized by the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham Vietnam).
