Dr Haque said: "Here we found that many of the slum dwellers were already vaccinated by the initiatives of the places they work at. When asked about the target, Haque said due to the experience in Korail, they do not have a fixed number but they are ready to inoculate all slum dwellers of Dhaka. About inoculating slum dwellers outside Dhaka, Dr Haque said the local team will manage it. The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) initiated the vaccination program in Korail slum on November 16. According to DNCC health department sources, vaccination activities will continue until at least 80% of the slum dwellers are vaccinated against Covid-19.
