Dow Jones futures weer up more than 1,500 points as of 8pm. Dow Jones futures rose over 1,500 points or 5.3 percent to 29,720, as of 8.36 pm, S&P 500 futures rose over 120 points or 3.62 percent to 3626. However, new-economy stocks did not fare well with Nasdaq 100 futures falling over 130 points or 1.12 percent to 11,939. Contracts on the Russell 2000 Index of small-cap stocks surged 7 percent. The Hang Seng Index futures also rose around 600 points to 26,688, as of 8pm.
