Europe will be open this summer to quarantine free travel for Americans who are fully vaccinated. Phuket plans to have all residents on the island vaccinated in time for their planned quarantine-free reopening to fully vaccinated tourists on July 1. Hope they find a way for safe quarantine-free travel for the fully vaccinated soon or we lose the window again. Vaccine-protected tourism and quarantine-free business travel for the fully vaccinated would clearly be a safe and well-justified case of taking care of both lives and livelihood. We are already late to the economic recovery and mass vaccination parties, let us not be late to the vaccinated tourism and business parties as well.
