Country music legend Dolly Parton has changed the words to her 1973 hit song Jolene to encourage people to get the Covid-19 vaccine. The singer-songwriter shared the video of herself getting the vaccine on Tuesday and used her platform to encourage others who may be hesitant about getting the jab. "Vaccine, vaccine, vaccine, vaccine, I’m begging of you please don’t hesitate. Vaccine, vaccine, vaccine, vaccine, because once you’re dead then that’s a bit too late. She said on Instagram: “Dolly gets a dose of her own medicine.”Her verdict: "That didn't hurt, just stung a bit but that was from the alcohol pad."
