Vancouver First city council candidate Elishia Perosa is leaving the newly-formed party over issues with leadership. Perosa is a first-time candidate who started a nonprofit called Resilience iAm The Organization in February 2017. According to its website, the organization helps women and children who are victims of violence and abuse. Vancouver First's Nycki Basra, also a city council candidate, said in an email there is no strict leadership structure in the party. Vancouver First's mayoral candidate is Fred Harding.
