A group of about a dozen volunteers hold signs and distribute voting information in downtown Vancouver. Municipal election campaigns in British Columbia are well underway — but it's the U.S. midterm elections that these Democrat volunteers are trying to draw attention to. According to organizer Cameron Mitchell, Jr., this is the last week when U.S. citizens from all states living abroad can register to cast ballots. Cyndy Roomy, an American living in Vancouver, holds a sign during a small rally in Vancouver on Tuesday to get U.S. voters living abroad to register to vote in midterm elections. "Voting abroad can be a little bit difficult," said Beatty on Tuesday after picking up some information.
