Vandals smash school buses used to transport disabled children

Seven minibuses parked at Silverwood School on Ashton Street in Trowbridge had their windscreens smashed over the weekend of October 7 and 8, which has left them in too dangerous a state to be used. Neighbourhood Sgt Charly Chilton said: “This senseless act has meant that several vehicles which are vital for local children to get to and from school are now out of action. “This has had a serious knock-on impact on the children who have had to adjust their normal routines, as well as their parents. “There is also the financial impact of repairing or replacing these vehicles, some of which are specially adapted for those in wheelchairs or have mobility issues. “I’d urge anyone who knows who did this or has any information to please report it to us.
