Very wet week for northern parts of North IslandMetService MetService Severe Weather Forecast 06-03-2017The top of the North Island is in for several days of high winds and heavy rain, with up to 200mm forecast in some areas. That rain is coming from a complex low northwest of the North Island that will be dragging cloud and rain down onto the top of the country. There will be strong and humid northeasterlies over the upper North Island.
