HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam’s national football team retained their 136th spot in FIFA’s latest world rankings, the Việt Nam Football Federation has announced. In Southeast Asia, the Philippines have the top spot (world No 122), trailed by Thailand (world No 127) and Việt Nam in second and third, respectively. Iran top the Asia rankings at 32nd in the world, followed by South Korea (39th) and Japan (52nd). Việt Nam are 22nd in Asia. Argentina top the world rankings, with Brazil and Germany second and third.
