Before assuming office as the 13th vice-president of India, Shri M Venkaiah Naidu, reached the famous hill shrine of Tirupati, in Andhra Pradesh, on a thanks giving visit, on Sunday evening. Naidu arrived on a special flight from Bengaluru, at Renigunta airport of Tirupati, and later reached the shrine via road. Sources said, after offering prayers, Naidu will also participate in some local programmes in Tirupati, and also at his native village in bordering Nellore district.
