Victoria police are issuing a warning to the public after a robbery at a playground ended in a youth suffering "potentially life-altering injuries." According to a release, officers were called to the Quadra Heights Playground in the 3100-block of Adler Street around 9 p.m. on Tuesday. The victim, a male youth, reported that he and a friend were in the playground when two other men approached and took their longboards. Police said he is in hospital with non-life-threatening, but potentially life-altering injuries. Distinctive longboardThe suspects are described as two male youths, approximately 15 and 16 years old, around five feet three inches tall.
