Local stars shone for the Victorians as Shamsur Rahman was the top scorer with 48 runs while Tamim Iqbl made 34. Sri Lankan Thisara Perera, who later picked three wickets, scored some quick runs, 26 off 12, in the death overs to put a defendable score on the board. Dhaka skipper Shakib al Hasan took three wickets while Andre Russell and Rubel Hossain took two wickets each. The right hander played an impressive innings for the Victorians in the Sylhet phase and he played another good innings against Dhaka.
