Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has translated a promotional film for the highly-lauded transfer of 22 mummies from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization on Saturday into 14 different languages, with the aim of encouraging further international interest in the event. These languages include English, French, German, Japanese, Italian, Chinese, Spanish and Swedish, Dutch and others. Once translating was finalized, the ministry sent the film to Egyptian embassies globally and to foreign embassies within Egypt in order to promote tourism. The film was also uploaded online to websites such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Several Egyptian actors also participated in the promotional film as narrators, including Hussein Fahmy, Asser Yassin, and Amina Khalil who went over the history of the 22 royal mummies, the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.
