Egyptian football star and Liverpool FC striker Mohamed Salah has won Liverpool’s Goal of the Decade title with his goal against Tottenham Hotspur in February 2018, the sporting club announced on its website. Salah was added to the shortlist of players earlier this month competing to win the Goal of the Decade award for his legendary goal against Tottenham in 2018. “Salah has topped our Goal of the Decade poll after a month of voting by supporters,” the website said. Almost 40,000 votes were cast to decide an overall winner of Liverpool’s “Goal of the Decade.”Salah beat Divock Origi’s unforgettable goal in 2019’s Champions League semi-final with Barcelona at Anfield. Liverpool’s Salah also claimed the Premier League’s player of the month title once in 2017 and twice in 2018.
