Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) director Comm Datuk Huzir Mohamed said the viral videos had circulated on social media from Jan 1 to May 31. Comm Huzir extended his appreciation to those who aided them with the videos. “We want to urge all those who record such incidents to share the information with our PDRM facebook page or PDRM twitter page or to our WhatsApp account ‘PDRM Viral Video’ at 019-3019930,” he said. On a separate matter, Comm Huzir said police solved the kidnapping of a Syrian chef on June 6 within four hours. At the same press conference, state police chief Comm Datuk T. Narenasagaran shared an update on a viral video of a fight that broke out along Chulia Street on June 6.
