Vietnamese investors prosper in Laos, Cambodia, MyanmarVietNamNet Bridge - Vietnam’s outward foreign direct investment (OFDI) is expected to continue to increase rapidly in Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar. Forty percent are developed in Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar. Meanwhile, the infrastructure conditions in Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar and the transport routes linking Vietnam and the countries remain underdeveloped. In Cambodia, FDI from China alone accounts for 32 percent and FDI from ASEAN 25 percent of total FDI in the country. China is also the biggest investor in Laos, accounting for 62 percent of total FDI, followed by ASEAN with 21 percent.
