Two Vietnamese sailors on Malaysian sunk ship are brought to Vung TauThe two are Huynh A Met, born in 1985, in the southernmost province of Ca Mau, and Ly Chien, born in 1983 in the Mekong Delta province of Soc Trang. They were rescued on January 12 by the ship MG Neptune en route to Vung Tau city in Vietnam’s southeastern coastal province of Ba Ria –Vung Tau. Met and Chien were among 13 Vietnamese sailors working on the ship PAF 4583 of Malaysia, which sank in international waters near Singapore. Eight other Vietnamese victims have been rescued by the ship Asiatic Dawn en route to Malaysia’s Klang Port, and one rescued by the ship Nordlily on its way to Singapore.
