And, lo and behold, Bennett has quadrupled his seat projection in current polls, from five to 20. And that seems to be the approval of a state budget, which is badly needed, but not quite on the terms the prime minister is proposing. The opposition vehemently disagrees, saying that the country needs a budget that will take it through the next 15 months. That would take us to the time when the prime ministership is supposed to be ceded to Gantz, under the terms of the coalition agreement (that no one expects Netanyahu to honour).
