The Jays finally tied the game in the bottom of the ninth when Brandon Drury doubled and scored on Danny Jansen’s two-out single. The winning homer came off Jimmy Cordero, the Jays’ sixth pitcher of the night. It was the start of a 2-for-6 night for Guerrero, who also hit a bloop single in the sixth. It wasn’t a perfect night for Sanchez, who struggled in the third inning, giving up two-out RBI singles to Mitch Moreland and Xander Bogaerts.
