Voters at other centers in Ganta, especially in school buildings, rushed under the corridors of buildings to avoid getting wet. There were overwhelming turnouts at centers in Saclepea and surrounding towns within Electoral Districts 7 and 8. At polling centers in Gbehyi Tengbein and Duayee, voters gathered as early as 6:00 a.m., while in Meinpa, Karnwee, Gbaiblin, Flumpa and Gbarn centers were jammed packed by voters braving the hot sun. Most of those who said they did not have transport fare to get to their assigned voting centers were seen walking kilometers to get to them. Besides being their constitutional right, scores of voters in Tengbein and Saclepea said they were voting to support their representative candidates in the legislative race.
