The Washington Commanders added a ballhawk to their secondary Thursday, selecting Mississippi State cornerback Emmanuel Forbes in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft. The 6-foot-1 corner finished his college career with 14 interceptions, six of which he returned for six touchdowns — an FBS record. On Thursday evening, Forbes received a call from Washington head coach Ron Rivera that would change his life forever.
