Former Customs Commissioner Nicanor Faeldon and Sen. Richard Gordon, chair of the Blue Ribbon committee, had a feisty exchange over a supposed party that the former military officer had with his family while in detention at the Senate. Faeldon retorted that he did not host a party with anyone and insisted that he simply had a Christmas dinner with his family. He then told Gordon, "You are exaggerating." This prompted the senator to tell Faeldon, at the top of his voice, to refrain from telling him that he was exaggerating. "Then you will remain under contempt," Gordon told him.
