KUALA LUMPUR: Breast cancer is still a major problem for women in Malaysia, with approximately one in 19 being at risk of developing the disease in her lifetime. To address this concern, Wacoal Malaysia Sdn Bhd held its third consecutive Pink Ribbon Campaign fun ride yesterday with about 600 participants. Flagging off cyclists were Wacoal Malaysia Executive Director Takashi Watanabe and NSTP Group Managing Editor Datuk Abdul Jalil Abdul Hamid. Watanabe said to champion the active prevention against breast cancer, Wacoal Malaysia had set 30,000 women as its target for its brassiere fitting campaign this year.
