Wall Street on edge as infamous crash warning that preceded every market meltdown since 1987 is flashing red

Surging oil prices are always a canary in the coal mine for Wall Street, but one analyst is making the claim that climbing crude costs guarantee a stock market meltdown. Wall Street analyst Pack Prandelli claims that ‘every major stock market crash since 1987’ was preceded by ‘one signal’: Oil prices rising 100 percent in the prior 12 months. If crude oil closes the gap and rises another 10 or 15 percent, Prandelli believes we’re more or less guaranteed to see a stock market crash. Opec changed course and slashed production - just as the tech-driven dot com stock market boom was really getting under way in the US. Oil prices were volatile but climbed higher in the 12 months leading up to the market meltdown of mid 2011.
