I do this by putting the dough in the turned-off oven with a pan of just-boiled water. If you want a fresh-baked batch of rolls when you wake up, proceed with the recipe through the step when you place the cut rolls into the pan with the sauce. In the morning, let the rolls come to room temperature for 30 to 40 minutes while you preheat the oven. Pull a batch of these out of the oven on Christmas morning — or any other morning— for a special way to start the day. Nestle the cut rolls over the topping.
