Moreover, a cold wave may start from Wednesday, Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said in a release on Tuesday. “From Tuesday night, a mild cold wave may sweep over Khulna division and parts of Tangail, Rangamati, Noakhali, Rajshahi, and Pabna districts. There is a possibility of a cold wave from Wednesday.”The cold wave may sweep the northern and south-western regions from Wednesday or Thursday, especially in Jessore and Satkhira districts as well as Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions, he added. The meteorologist further said the north-westerly wind is the reason behind the possible cold wave.
