After a cold and snowy weekend, Torontonians can finally breathe a sigh of relief, as the city is expected to get a much-needed warm spell this week. Monday and Tuesday will still be a bit chilly, according to the Environment Canada forecast, with highs of -3 and -4 C respectively, including a low of -15 C Monday night, but the mercury will rise above zero near the middle of the week. Wednesday is predicted to have a high of 2 C, with an overnight low of -1 C and a 40 per cent chance of rain or snow. Thursday is expected to be a balmy 7 C with a low of -4 C and another 30 per cent chance of rain or snow during the night. Don’t put your parka away yet though, as the temperature dips back into the negatives on Friday, with a high of -3 C and a low of -12 C, followed by -2 C on Saturday and -5 C with snow overnight.
