His net worth is down $7.7 billion in the last week, as Berkshire Hathaway’s stock struggles alongside the overall market. Nebraska has 26 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, and Buffett notes in his letter that he doesn’t wish to “expose Omaha to the possibility of becoming a ‘hot spot’ in the current pandemic.
