Goals from Marcus Kane and Junior settled an incident-packed match at Stangmore Park. Feeney saw the funny side then, but admitted he had been far from amused at his players’ first-half performance. The Swifts lost Caolan Marron to a red card, before Junior won it six minutes from the end. It happened when he won a penalty in first-half stoppage time, falling awkwardly after an innocuous challenge from Jonathan Russell.
