The Post called the tweet “unacceptable” and said it “did not meet our editorial standards,” in a tweet posted later that day. “That the Washington Post would shame the parents of Omer Neutra for keeping their focus on the captivity of their son is beneath contempt,” tweeted Rep. Ritchie Torres, a staunchly pro-Israel New York Democrat. A call to Orna Neutra was not immediately returned.
