Washington Post highlights Arlington eatery on Best New Restaurants list

Lao and Thai restaurant Padaek, which opened last October in the Arlington Ridge Shopping Center, won some acclaim from the Washington Post today. The Post included the eatery at 2931 S. Glebe Road on a list of the best new restaurants in the region. The list specifically highlights the Arlington Ridge location, a second location for Padaek that spun out of a Seven Corners restaurant. Washington Post food critic Tom Sietsema listed the new Padaek location as one of the 26 best recently opened restaurants in the D.C. area. The restaurant is open from noon to 3 p.m. every day and 4-9 p.m. every day except Sunday, when it closes at 8 p.m.
