Reports indicate that parts of East Legon, Kaneshie, Circle, the Airport area, Mallam, Mataheko, and Accra Central are heavily flooded due to the rainstorm. The flooding has led to an obstruction in the flow of vehicular traffic on the Kaneshie to Mallam stretch of the Kasoa Highway, the Central Business District, and Odawna, among other areas. GhanaWeb's team captured footage of parts of East Legon completely submerged underwater. The flooding rendered stretches of road in the area impassable, severely hindering vehicular movement.
