Watford have insisted they did not agree with the decision to postpone Sunday's Championship game at Hull City. "The decision to postpone the fixture so close to kick-off is regrettable and we fully share the frustration of our supporters," Watford said in a statement. But in a later post on X, the club said: "We hope all our inconvenienced fans made it home safely from Hull. "We remain disappointed by the decision to postpone, and by how the decision was reached. Watford are sixth in the table but will switch to FA Cup action on Saturday for a third round tie away to Bristol City.
